When ordering please provide brand and size of Piano (as well as model if known).
Size should include the overall length from front to back.
The 6542 fits Grand Pianos - 4' 8" to 5' 11"
The 6543 fits Grand Pianos - 6' to 7' 6" HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ADD LOCKING CASTERS!
The 6544 fits Concert grand Pianos - 9' 0" HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ADD LOCKING CASTERS!
The 6544R fits 9'0" Concert Grand Pianos with large style brass casters. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ADD LOCKING CASTERS!
The 6544XL is made for the Bosendorfer 9' 6" concert grand HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ADD LOCKING CASTERS!
Equipped with 5" diameter, 2" wide American made casters.
Locking Casters Are Available (+ $51.10) and are highly recommended.
Otherwise the piano could move while pianist is playing and/or roll off the stage, like the one in the picture below!

Optional Locking Wheels and why you should consider them:
Because the grand dolly is designed to make it easy (and safer) to move the piano around, it is also easier for
it to move while someone is playing. Particularly if the pianist happens to be pressing two pedals at once, the piano
can actually be pushed away from them while they are playing.
It is generally recommended to purchase the dolly with two locking wheels (for the two legs in the front) which will prevent
the piano from moving when you don't want it to.
We will need the following information to assure you get the right dolly!
Make/Brand of your piano (ex: Yamaha, Steinway, Estonia, etc.)
Model of your piano (ex: C3, A, L-190)
Length of piano from the front to the tip of the back
Distance between legs
Width of legs (at the bottom)if square, diameter (at the bottom) if round.
NOTE: These are heavy items. Shipped in three boxes the smallest dolly weighs over 107LBS, The dolly for 9'
concert grands weighs about 200lbs.

6' 0" / 6' 1" Yamaha, Young Chang, Kawai Samick, and Kohler & Campbell pianos require the 6542.
Keep in mind you will need to remove the casters from the piano so that it sits about the same height
from the floor when it is on the dolly as it did on the casters.
